What is a clean workbench?

3 Tips for Clean Workbench Before Operation:


  1. Newly installed clean workbenches or clean workbenches that have not been used for a long time need to be cleaned. And cleanroom also need to be cleaned to ensure the indoor air cleanliness level. Use ultra-clean vacuum cleaners and tools that do not produce fibers for cleaning to ensure that there are no large particles of contamination, and then use drug sterilization or ultraviolet sterilization for sterilization;

  2. The indoor temperature should not be too high, not more than 60 ℃;

  3. Try not to place unnecessary items in the area where the clean workbench is placed. Items will change airflow.


6 Operation methods for clean workbench:


  1. Before starting work, it is necessary to sterilize the clean workbench. Press the power switch 30 minutes in advance, design and control the required production parameters, turn on the switch of the ultraviolet germicidal lamp, and treat the bacteria and microorganism lamps in the workbench. After leaving the clean workbench, turn on the UV germicidal lamp in the buffer area. Turn off the instrument after killing bacteria. Wait for about 30 minutes to allow ozone to be converted into oxygen to avoid affecting the health of the staff, then turn on the lighting system, start the fan, and you can use the clean workbench.

  2. After the staff uses the clean workbench, they also need to take cleaning measures, use 75% alcohol to wipe and clean the work surface, and turn off the blower. Turn on the ultraviolet germicidal lamp for 15 seconds to kill the bacteria in the workbench, and then turn off the power switch.

  3. The tools, instruments, etc. that need to be used in the work should be put into the clean workbench.

  4. The staff produce a lot of bacteria and particles. So staff need to wear disposable masks, hats and medical latex gloves

  5. The sliding door of the clean workbench can be properly opened for operation, but it needs to be operated in accordance with the aseptic operation procedures.

  6. After cleaning up, you need to keep records. To ensure the cleanliness of the workbench, uncleaned dead angles are not exist.
