The clean bench is a box-type air purification facility that can not only provide a local dust-free clean, operating environment with a cleanliness class of 100 (ISO Class 5) .
The stainless steel clean room washing sink is widely used in operating rooms, aseptic rooms, laboratories and other places with high sanitary requirements.
As an auxiliary equipment of clean room, the clean room pass box is mainly used for the transfer of small items between clean area and clean area, non-clean area and clean area
VHP pass box is mainly used for biological decontamination of the outer surface of the material to avoid the material from the no-level area or low-level area into the high-level area to bring in contamination.
Definition of clean room air shower: It is a kind of local purification equipment with strong versatility in which people or goods enter the clean area by the fan through the air shower nozzle spraying clean strong wind after efficient filtration to blow away the dust adsorbed on the surface of people or objects.
It is a necessary passage for goods to enter the clean room, and it can reduce the contamination problem caused by the goods entering and leaving the clean room.
Overview of cleanroom mist shower: In addition to the function of air blowing shower of ordinary air shower room, the function of water mist blowing shower has been added.
Pharmaceutical isolator is an air purification product that separates the operator from the powder or liquid product in the laboratory or production process by means of a physical barrier.
It is used to maintain temperature, humidity, wind speed, air pressure and cleanliness class required in the clean room, the most commonly used method is to continuously send a certain amount of processed air into the clean room to eliminate internal and external heat and humidity interference and dust pollution.
What is Clean Room Air Shower
An air shower is designed to function as a sort of gateway controller between your cleanroom and the rest of the world. When used properly, an air shower can cut down on a vast majority of potential contaminants and helps ensure that your product remains safe and uncontaminated.
Advantages of Clean Room Air Shower
Superior contamination control
Obviously, air showers improve control over contamination. By removing particles from personnel, cleanrooms become more effective at keeping a pristine environment. This is even more important in sectors where a few lone particles can cause serious damage to products.
Improved product quality
Through better contamination control, as we mentioned above, air showers help improve the quality of products. By preventing more particles from entering the cleanroom, they ensure that sensitive products remain free from defects.
Better compliance
Many industries that use cleanrooms also have strict cleanliness standards that they must meet. Cleanroom air showers help compliance with these regulations, which ensures that ongoing operations can avoid potential fines or production stoppages.
Lower costs in the long run
Although the initial investment in cleanroom air showers can be a lot, the long-term benefits include reduced contamination-related losses.

Air showers are manufactured from various materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic or plastic laminate. Materials of construction may be governed by the requirements of the air shower.
Steel is a commercial iron that contains carbon in any amount up to about 1.7 percent as an essential alloying constituent. It is malleable when under suitable conditions, and is distinguished from cast iron by its malleability and lower carbon content.
Stainless steel is chemical and corrosion resistant, and can have relatively high stress ratings. Although many grades are available, most stainless steel cannot be hardened to the same degree as carbon steels.
Aluminum is a bluish, silver-white, malleable, ductile, light, trivalent metallic element with good electrical and thermal conductivity, high reflectivity, and resistance to oxidation.
Plastics or plastic laminates are organic, synthetic, or processed materials that are mostly thermoplastic or thermosetting polymers of high molecular weight.
Air showers are used to clean particles off personnel before they enter a cleanroom. They are typically used for higher classification cleanrooms (ISO-5 /class 100 cleanrooms, ISO-6 / class 1000 cleanrooms) and are very popular in the semiconductor industry.
Before entering the cleanroom air shower, personnel will gown up to encapsulate any particles they might have on their clothes or body. Depending on the size of the cleanroom air shower, anywhere from 1 to 3 people can open the door and enter. After entering, the cleanroom air shower blows HEPA filtered air on them for 20-40 seconds to remove any particles. Once the cycle is complete, the personnel exit thru the second door into the cleanroom. The doors of the cleanroom air shower are typically interlocked so only one door can be open at a time to prevent particles from entering the cleanroom from the exterior.
The air shower blasts HEPA filtered air thru nozzles in the ceilings and both walls at 8000 feet/minute on the standing personnel. A typical 4'x6' air shower has 6 nozzles in the ceiling and 11 nozzles on each wall to blast the air. This results in the cleanroom air shower having 800 air changes per hour - more than double the requirement for ISO-5 cleanrooms.

The Application Field of Clean Room Air Shower
Air Showers in Medical Research Cleanrooms
Medical research and highly sensitive equipment used in that research can both be compromised by entering contaminants. To keep the environment as free of particles as possible and reach stringent ISO Class 5 or lower standards, these types of cleanrooms use air showers for researchers and doctors to "rinse off" before entering the controlled environment.
In some medical cleanroom applications, such as those working with bio-hazardous materials, infectious diseases, or toxic fumes, what's inside the cleanroom may be more dangerous than the outside. In addition to negative pressurization to isolate internal contaminants, air showers may be placed within the cleanroom to remove particles from workers exiting the controlled environment as an added defense.
Pharmaceutical Cleanrooms
Pharmaceutical cleanrooms are trusted to develop, test, and produce life-saving drugs and compounds. Any contamination of their processes could adversely affect test results or consumer health. Pharmaceutical cleanrooms must meet high cleanliness standards, and frequently implement air showers to help reach them. The additional layer of protection ensures that personnel traveling from the ante chamber to the compounding room are not carrying potentially dangerous contaminants.
Air Showers in Aerospace Cleanrooms
Too many particles in an aerospace cleanroom can result in a compromised sensor or a malfunctioning piece of electrical equipment. On a small scale this may not seem like much, but when applied to a complex machine like aircraft or spacecraft, every piece of equipment must be in optimal condition to ensure worker safety and project results. These types of cleanrooms use large air showers at the entrance and exit of the cleanroom to remove particles from personnel, products, and parts to maintain a clean, contaminant-free environment.
Precision Manufacturing Cleanrooms
Not all manufacturing environments require strict particle control, but the manufacturing of highly sensitive products, such as radar systems, sensors, and computer hardware must be completed in a controlled space, often a cleanroom. Defense cleanrooms, for example, often employ air showers because the potential for excess particles can threaten the development of complex parts and equipment, weapons, and security systems.
Air Showers in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Cleanrooms
Semiconductor cleanrooms and cleanrooms that manufacture, handle microelectronics have some of the most strict requirements for particle control. Typically ISO Class 5 and lower, these types of cleanrooms rely on many layers of protection, including air showers, to reduce the potential of contaminating particles entering the cleanroom environment. Highly sensitive integrated circuits are easily compromised by particles carried in on personnel. Adding air showers to semiconductor cleanroom design can help prevent the corruption of these valuable materials.
Air Shower Design Considerations
Modular air shower designs and configurations accommodate specific requirements for industry, as well as the number of personnel using the cleanroom. Modular cleanroom entry systems also simplify shipping and assembly.
Utilizing a 90-degree design, users enter on one side and exit to the right or left at a 90-degree angle. This allows the air shower, with nozzles on two opposing walls cleans workers with ease. In This configuration has fewer air nozzles than the straight-through design and requires the worker to turn 360 degrees to ensure that they've been thoroughly cleansed. Other designs may have double doors or even three doors for entry and exit. Configurations include cart/parts-cleaning air showers, which are used for carts, conveyors, pallets and continuous-part operation. Low-profile air showers accommodate facilities with ceilings less than 96 inches. ADA air showers are sized so a wheelchair can turn around in the air shower.
The number of people that need to enter your cleanroom in each amount of time will have a major impact on the size of the air shower and filtration system that is required. Designs range from single batch systems where one person uses the shower at a time, to tunnel systems for larger groups to pass through quickly. Tunnels are becoming more common because of the amount of cycle time needed for a shift change.
Like air locks, air showers have entrance and exit doors that cannot be opened at the same time. Workers enter one side and exit on the opposite side. When one door opens, the other door's magnet energizes, preventing it from opening. During the cleaning cycle, both doors are energized (locked) to prevent anyone entering or leaving before the cycle is completed.
High-quality air shower shells are constructed of steel and painted with a strong, durable cleanroom-compatible finish. For some medical, pharmaceutical, or extremely wet environments, stainless steel construction is ideal.
Some manufacturers offer economy units made of laminated particleboard. However, this option has major weaknesses, including temperature and humidity fluctuations that can cause delamination. The materials are also easy to damage and susceptible to joint loosening. Any of these conditions may generate particulate or biological contamination.
Precautions and Troubleshooting When Using Air Shower
Air shower is a highly-versatile local clean equipment that blows off the dust particles from people or goods by centrifugal fan through air shower nozzle before entering clean room. Air shower can effectively remove a large number of dust particles brought by people or goods entering and exiting the clean workshop, thereby ensuring the cleanliness of the dust free clean workshop.
After people enter the air shower room, high-speed clean air flows through primary filter and hepa filter and is sprayed from all directions to the surfaces of people and materials by adjustable nozzles, effectively and quickly removing dust particles carried on surface.
Matters needing attention when using air shower
1. The door of air shower adopts electronic automatic interlocking. When using it, please note that when one door is opened, the other one will be automatically locked. Do not open it by force. When the two doors work in air shower, you need to follow the steps, and you also need to pay attention not to force any door to open.
2. After the installation of air shower is confirmed, do not move or make corrections without permission. If corrections are needed, please contact the manufacturer and let professionals guide the installation.
3. The use environment of the air shower should keep dry and well-ventilated.
4. Avoid the impact of hard objects inside and outside, so as not to affect the imbalance or scratch of the air shower.
5. Do not transport items in air shower that exceed the specifications of the air shower, so as not to touch the surface circuit controls of the air shower and seriously affect the work of the air shower.
6. When using the air shower, follow the steps carefully and do not use brute force.
Air shower room troubleshooting
1. When air shower room has been used for a period of time, if the air velocity is very low, you should immediately check whether the filter of the air shower room has excessive dust accumulation. If so, please replace the filter with a new one. Usually it is necessary to replace it once every 1-6 months, and the hepa filter is usually replaced every 6-12 months.
2. If air shower room cannot automatically sense to work, check the induction system of the box inside air shower to see if the induction equipment is normal.
3. When air shower room is not working, firstly check whether the emergency switch of the air shower outdoor box is blocked. If it is blocked, press it with your hand, turn it to the right and let it go.
